This 1929 Gibson Style 3 is a bit of a rare treat being all original with a Robin Smith mahogany neck. The all original TB-3 with F.O.N. 9308-14 remains in fantastic condition with its 2-piece flange configuration and 40-hole archtop tone ring. The conversion neck was made by the late Robin Smith and is everything you'd expect coming from his hands. The banjo comes with the Rogers hide head STILL installed and going strong along with its original tenor neck, case, head guard, wrench, and more. As you can hear in the video this one has the old sound. If so desired, a new Remo head and/or a Ceres archtop-to-flathead conversion ring can be installed at the buyers discretion. If you need additional pictures or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
