This Style 6 "Sparkle" original flathead is in STUNNING condition. 1929 was the year Gibson introduced the "flathead" tone ring to the market place. The Style 6 was available in several different configurations of archtop, flathead, RB, TB, and PT. This banjo F.O.N. 9301-38 was a PT-6 and retains its "light-weight" 20-hole flathead tone ring. The neck was made by the late Robin Smith in the classic "sparkle" design. If you need additional pictures or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
