This Style 4 from 1935 F.O.N. 276-20 features a Frank Neat walnut neck with a Shelton/Blaylock 20 hole tone ring. The chrome hardware shows some patina and remains in fantastic condition. Several of these Style 4's have been found with the extra fancy purfling on the reso sidewall. This resonator has been refinished at some point. The Neat neck is typical excellence with prewar Grover pancake tuners. The tone ring is by Kevin Shelton who Bill Blaylock allowed to keep using the same formula and foundry to produce these legendary tone rings.
