This 'Fat Rim" Style 3 F.O.N. 9488-9 started life in 1929 as a TB-3. This Style 3 remains in great shape showing some "pull" on the flange not uncommon for a fat rim. Now fitted with a Ceres 20-hole flathead tone ring and Frank Neat mahogany neck this Prewar Gibson is fine bluegrass machine.
