This is an original Recording King RK-36 5-String Banjo. I purchased the banjo new directly from Banjo Ben in 2022. It has a mahogany neck and mahogany resonator. It is in excellent condition. The finish is outstanding. There is one ding on the lip of the resonator. See the pictures. Overall the instrument looks as new. Very minimal fret wear. Since the banjo is not sold with a case, I purchased a light weight case as shown in the pictures. It has 5th string spikes on the 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th frets. The banjo looks great. I swapped the tuners out with schallers which were on my Stelling banjo as I prefer them over the originals. If you like I will send the original tuners in the case. The banjo sounds and plays great. I am selling because I no longer need it. If you can pick it up and pay cash (local) I will knock $75 off the price. I am willing to drive 100 miles from North Augusta, SC and meet you to avoid the hassle of packing and shipping. Shipping is included to the lower 48. Not interested in trades.
