I found this beauty at a local auction. It's strung up and playable, but the action is high, there is a slight crack in the heel, and a hole in the silver metal piece at the base of the fretboard. It has a brand new calf skin head. It looks like only 13 of the original brackets and nuts have survived, and it is currently missing two brackets. I'm not very handy with instruments so I want this to go to someone who can bring it into its second (or third?) life. Asking 900, but will entertain reasonable offers

Manufacture Year: unclear - probably late 1800's.
Modifications: It appears the fretboard was replaced from the nut to the 6th fret. the rest of the fretboard appears to be original
