A. A. Farland Grand Concert Banjo c. 1915-1918? fleur de lis on head; Nylon stringed, 5-stringed, open-back banjo; beautiful ornate wood carving at neck-to-pot area; 27.125” scale; 22 frets; 10.75” pot OD; with hard case. In photo 5, my fingers are behind the first fret, separating the strings to make it easier to see the wear on the lower frets, most visible at the fret in the middle of the pic. I would call it light wear, not deep. Photo 5 shows the 5th string spike and some marring of the fingerboard, probably when someone clumsily replaced a missing or loose spike? Also included is a hard shell case, and the exciting Farland Catalog dated 1902: see 3 pics of sample pages. Ask for more pictures of anything if you need, please. Make an offer!!!
