Despite the funky, hand-painted headstock, this 6-string banjo-guitar is most certainly a Gold Tone Banjitar Deluxe GT-750. All other design features, including engraving, inlays, binding, wood, and pick-up are identical to the GT-750. (Compare to the on-line Gold Tone description and photos.) The new ones have tone rings with 20 holes; this has 18. I bought it used with no significant wear. I guess it didn't work out for the original owner/painter. (There is no "Fingerstyle Banjo Co.")
The current head is top-frosted. A clear one like the original could be included on request.
I have played it open back, but the resonator, flange, mounting hardware, and original pickup and jack are included -- as shown. The homemade bridge in the photos is lighter than the original, but that heavier original is included as well. It comes with the hard-shell case in the photos.
