This banjo was assembled a couple years ago by N.C. luthier Chris Young. The mahogany neck is by Chris with fabuslous craftsmanship and great profile, and the pot consists of mainly old Gibson RB-800 hardware in the 2-pc flange configuration. At the heart of this banjo is a Huber HR-30 tone ring. The rim has an aftermarket "Mastertone" decal and "serial number" offset on the lower side of the rim. The resonator is mahogany with concentric rings and the L-brackets were replaced with t-plates at some time. All in all afantastic banjo for the price.
