Up for sale is a mint condition Wildwood Troubador EWS (Exotic Wood Series) banjo. The Exotic Wood Series was developed by maker Mark Platin using all non-endangered woods throughout and an oil rubbed, open pore finish.
This spectacular open-back instrument features a solid maple, lathe-turned pot fitted with a Tubaphone tone-ring. The neck is a mix of African Bubinga & Wenge with a Maple center strip and an ebony fretboard with frailing scoop.
On this model, an ebony fingerboard, curly maple binding throughout, and abalone inlays exemplify Wildwood's attention to detail in building a professional instrument.
