The Gibson RB-250 is the best selling model in the history of Gibson. Although the configuration changed a few times over the decades, this configuration has become the classic. A mahogany neck with ebony fretboard became standard many years ago. This particular banjo's neck was damaged and now has a new neck by Steve Huber made perfectly to factory specs. The serial number is 250-01-119 and it remains in fantastic condition with it's original Gibson USA tone ring, hardware, etc. This 250 has 5th string spikes and ships in its original Gibson USA case.
