The Gibson Earl Scruggs model is one of the highest selling banjos of all time. The Scruggs features the curly maple neck with an ebony fretboard and an extra inlay at the first fret unlike the Granada. This was Earl's preference. This one is gold plated showing patina and has the original "Gibson USA" tone ring. Hoppers cam tuners are installed for the ultimate Scruggs sound as all the classic recordings Earl used cam tuners and Hoppers are some of the best.
