A stellar example of the Bart Reiter legacy. This 1994 Grand Concert model is among the most elaborate from the Reiter lineup with the sound and mojo to deliver. The banjo plays wonderfully with a beautifully full sound. There is finish checking throughout the entire instrument (hard to photograph) along with some finish wear where a strap was a attached near the body and a on the back side of the head stock. The metal is tarnished from use but the frets have a lot of life left.
Spikes on 6-12. Tailpiece is a no-knot (but I have the original) , the bridge is a Seeders (dyed to match body), and the head is a John Balch Hide 11''.
Comes with original case.
I'm selling because I have to accept as much as I want to be a banjo player the guitar is where my heart, work, and practice lies.
