2015 Stelling Red Fox. Recently set up by Richie Dotson. This banjo is loud and has the crack of a maple banjo that everyone desires. The metal is beautiful. It has a new Stelling brand head and a Dotson old wood bridge. I think what impressed me most about this banjo is how gently you can touch the strings to get it to ring out very loud.
The Stelling Red Fox 5 String was inspired by master banjoist Bill Emerson, the Red Fox features Stelling’s unique bronze ‘Wedge Fit’ tone ring fitted to a Tony Pass ‘Lost Timbre’ block rim.
I have the original Stelling case and bridge with it also. I’d prefer not to ship and am willing to meet up with the buyer if it’s somewhat close. Obviously, I will ship if needed. Let me know if you have any questions.
