Looking to purchase a 12" openback as soon as possible. Small builders like Rickard, Cedar Mountain, Seeders, Chuck Lee etc…
Looking for something with some plunk, but I'll most likely stick to a renn head as this will be an instrument for gigging and traveling. I'm used to short scale but I'm not married to it. I also need it to cut so I’m especially looking for a 12” with a whyte laydie / electric style tone ring or Dobson. Not so into the tuba rings and a woody won’t quite do what I need.
I wish I had the time to custom order my dream banjo, but a touring gig has come up and I really need to pull the plug on something as soon as possible. Looking for a professional instrument.
