Hello all, I have had the honor of owning the banjo strap that Earl Scruggs used on his banjo throughout the 1980/90's.
I am selling the strap at this time and wanted to list it here so I don't have to list it on Ebay.
This strap is a one-of-a-kind piece of history that any collector would be proud to have. The strap was originally sold by Larry Perkins to help fund his "The Book of Earl" project. Larry sold it to Zane Fairchild and I got it from him.
Included is the original, notarized certificate of authenticity, an album (1980) with Earl and the strap and a "Bluegrass Unlimited" magazine with Earl and the strap on the cover. You can search YouTube and find many videos of Earl with this strap.
