Stelling Bellflower Banjo, serial no. 1654 made 9/2/1980, purchased new from Stelling. This Stelling is fitted with a custom Left hand walnut neck. Abalone and MOP vine inlay in an Ebony fretboard and peg head custom carved heal and neck at heal. Engraved Tension hoop, resonator flange, resonator screws, tone ring and tailpiece. Included is the original Stelling right hand neck (shipped in a separate container), original banjo case, Stelling Registration card, the original Stelling setup booklet and a set of never used original Stelling banjo strings (probably wouldn’t use them now). Everything is in excellent condition.
This Stelling was converted to Left hand because of an accident that doesn’t allow my left arm to straighten out or left hand to rotate palm upward thus resulting in the left hand neck. The left hand neck was not made by Stelling but by another professional instrument builder.
