The 1981 "Crowe" from Gold Star is highly sought after and rarely available. This J.D. Crowe is very being #12 and was purchased years ago at Gruhn Guitar in Nashville. These banjos feature the "Granada" look of yesteryear with vintage gold plated and engraved hardware along with a curly maple neck and resonator. Only 80 of these were made in 1981 with this serial number being 81012 and the label signed by J.D. Crowe himself. This banjo is in its original case. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking. Here's video of this banjo: youtube.com/watch?v=Sylb66i_cIs
