Gibson Prewar Banjo- with a custom strap made just for this banjo. A one of a kind and has the FON numbers on the strap! Kudos to Tom Bennett who makes custom straps.

This is a killer OP conversion banjo which has been restored with newer flange, armrest and a refinished the original resonator.
The neck is a high quality strain grain maple 5 string conversion neck made by Wyatt Fawley.
The fret board appears to be rosewood. Has aftermarket tuners on the neck and Spikes installed on 7th & 9th fret.
The frets have minimal wear.
The heart of this banjo which have Prewar parts are the Rim, re-finished Resonator, "e2" tension hoop, most of the hooks and nuts and a Grover patent tailpiece that was drilled to be a five string.
Added coordinator rod, a 20 hole nickel plated Mitch .38 special tone ring installed by Mitch Meadors himself. This is a powerful full tone banjo.
This banjo is set up and ready to go and plays and sounds great! This comes with hardshell case
This has a newer frosted head which is set to G#.
This banjo has been set up for power. The banjo is perfect for any musician who appreciates the unique sound of vintage instruments.
