The 1964 Epiphone "Texan" is closely associated with the legendary Paul McCartney. Paul purchased his 1964 Texan and performed regularly with it creating a desire in the marketplace for the '64 Texan specifically. This Texan is a "one owner" in its original case. The guitar shows very little wear with some finish checking. The original plastic bridge was upgraded to rosewood many years ago. The mahogany back and sides show beautiful grain with the light brown stain and the Sitka spruce top is fantastic as well. The Brazilian rosewood fret board features parallelogram inlays with the 14 frets "clear of the body". Included with this guitar is a new appraisal from Gruhn Guitars. If you desire additional pictures or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
