Hi All,
I have for sale a really wonderful 1912 Fairbanks Vega Imperial Electric (Basically a mahogany White Laydie without the bracket band.). This banjo, I am told, is all original minus the head, bridge, tuners, and fifth string pip and is in good condition for over 100 years old. I got this banjo several years ago and had my dear buddy Will Seeders reset the neck for a 5/8ths bridge which made it sound and play even better. I am the third owner of this banjo and the previous owner had it strung with steel strings since the 1960's and the neck is straight and has no issues. It is also one of the most comfortable banjo necks I have ever played on. Tonally this banjo is incredibly warm and punky as one would expect from a banjo like this.
I play my tubaphone more often as it has a resonator, so this one is available.
$2150 plus shipping. Hardshell case included.
