Early 70's model because of the serial number stamped in the rim instead of the sticker label used later on when they were just Ode. The banjo has scratches, scuffs and the clear is worn in places. It at one time had a 5th string sliding capo but was removed leaving the holes showing. The binding is cracked next to the same area. The neck shows the finish has been worn due to being enjoyed while playing. Clear coat is peeling on the peghead as well. It does play and sound very good. Not a beauty queen but the action is good and so is the tone on these Baldwins. Original tuners on 1 and 4, RR spikes at 7,9,10. Frets are in good shape. No buzzing. Some wear on 1st few frets. Has a 5/8 Percell maple bridge, the Keith D tuners are not included with reduced price. I will put the original back on when sold .I play this banjo almost every day. It has the usual thin neck that will let you play fast . This banjo is walnut and comes with the case pictured. I got the banjo from Elderly instruments a few years ago. I have another Baldwin C so this one can go. Please look over the picturesas I have pointed out the imperfections. Any questions feel free to reach out.Honestly nice banjo. Thanks for looking.
