Vintage early 80s korean flying eagle maple neck. This neck came as a bundle of parts as a result of a damaged rim a seller claimed it was shipping damage when it was not. The in lay is mother of toilet seat, frets are fabulous, it is in great condition. I measured some of the specs on this neck and it fits perfectly vintage 2 piece flange pots made by iida thru the 70s. This ultimately means that the builders who built these hondos measured and weighed Japanese parts in order to produce their result. The headstock is painted black with the Seville water slide decal. I was going to use this neck on an iida pot build I was doing but i rescinded because I dont have the time. The double cut headstock could easily take a rosewood overlay. The heel has a rounded edge but could be sanded flat to fit standard resonator sizes. The attachment bolts are kind of funky but they work and or they could be removed and replaced with standard lag screws of your choice. I purchased a bone nut that is the same size as the original plastic nut that will be included with this neck, will require some sizing, sanding.
Great project neck.
