Early ? Jimmy Cox Carolina serial 0012. Play ware expected, frets good. No buzz here in low humidity Roanoke VA. This one came to me through trade with Franklin Music in Franklin county Southwest VA.Gold in extremely good condition. With ware of binding lacquer on busy parts like neck. I do not know the year made so if anyone can help call me or send me a note. Comes in an old blue felt lined hard shell case. I mean OLD but fits like a glove. This is a loud banjo, with great action for a no effort string height. NOTE the abalony between second and third fret is missing the one piece of inlay. It’s visible in the neck picture. Could NOT FIND MISSING abalony. Sorry. So please be aware.
