This is Zach Hoyt banjo #63. I purchased it new from Mr. Hoyt and had it custom made for me. This banjo is a 29 inch long scale banjo made of walnut with an ebony fret board. It has a Whyte Laydie tone ring. This banjo is very similar to Zach's banjo 59, which can be found online. However, as noted above, this is a long scale banjo. It has a 12" pot and rim. It has railroad spikes on the 6, 7, and 8 frets. It is also scooped for clawhammer. It has brass components.
