Beautiful Fairbanks Vega Senator model 5 string banjo for sale. very good condition un molested and ready for a new home. 10 11/16 pot circa 1919 ? serial numbers matching on pot and dowel stick. custom cherry neck built to resemble the original but with modern features to make it playable and use steel strings. 2 way adjustable truss rod (from heel end) walnut peghead overlay and heel cap, ebony fretboard 26 1/4 inch with binding, bone nut and raised bone pip for clawhammer style, finished in laquer to match original pot, stew mac medium fret wire is easy to play with low action and 5/8 bridge, real mother of pearl inlays in vega style, slightly wider than standard at 1 3/8 at nut and 2 at heel. c shape contour is very comfortable to p-lay. sound is crisp and clean Vintage Vega sound and quality.
