1981 Goldstar GF-85 in very good condition. Excellent player, as expected from these Goldstars that era. The original tuners have been upgraded with Rickard 10:1 cyclotronic tuners with amber buttons, fith string tuner is a Rickard branded Gotoh tuner. Resonator has some buckle rush, back of peghead shows the usual laquer wear. Lot of patina on the armrest. At some point in time there was a sliding capo installed. The holes in the binding have been filled and railroad spikes are installed now. Some minor fret wear on the first frets. Comes with original hardcase as shown in the pictures. This Goldstar banjo sports a mahagony neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The neck is a bit wider than the thin stick necks of that era, which makes it more comfortable to play, especially when you have bigger hands. Leather strap and electronic tuner shown on the pictures are not included.
