I've been playing this banjo for the last few days for a test run, so to speak, before offering it for sale. It plays very nicely so I can therefore sell it with confidence that it will serve the new owner very well.

Set up in CGDA

10 3/4" rim

17-fret, 20 7/8" scale

3-piece bird's eye maple neck and bird's eye maple veneer over maple rim

Has original (and nice) 1920s Grover Presto tailpiece

All original hardware

Straight neck, minimal fret wear, archtop ring

Newly-installed Renaissance head, modern 1/2" two-footed Grover bridge ebony-tipped maple bridge

Action is 1/8" at the 12th fret

Neck binding intact, friction tuners hold the tuning well

Excellent set up, great player, very nice intermediate level tenor

The minor defects: There's a tiny piece of abalone inlay missing in the peghead as well as a very tight heel cap crack., which probably doesn't even go all the way through the cap.

No Paypal, please. Postal MO (or personal check) is fine.
