I received this banjo from an older gentleman who stated that it was his grandmothers, and that she had bought it new. It is all original, excluding a new skinhead, strings (Aquilla 17s), and a period bridge courtesy of Joel Hooks.
It is an all original Vega #2 from, I believe, 1920. When I mean all original, I do not just mean that it is an original five string, but also that the original tuners, pip, and hardware are present. Comes with a modern case.
The plating appears to be good. I have not attempted to clean it up. There does not appear to be anything wrong with this banjo, especially considering its age. I am reluctant to sell it, but I'm set on acquiring a French bass Chromatic Accordion (so I am open to trades if you have one).
