This is a 2014 Kel Kroydon Standard made by Robin Smith for the American Made Banjo Company. It's a copy of a Gibson Earl Scruggs with a maple neck and Kulesh "1990 formula" tone ring.
I had the nickel tone ring stripped and gold plated (over copper) to be more like Earl's. It also has a prucha pot metal tension hoop to be closer to the right specs.
I bought this from Elderly in 2021. I was drawn to it by it's power and tone. It's an excellent banjo by a master builder. These came with a free personalized mastertone block inlay; when I bought it it said "Holly", so I had Chris Sorensen put my dad's name there instead (Ralph). It wasn't an expensive job so you could also customize if you like.
There's very little fretwear or blemishes. It comes with a Superior hard shell case and the strap shown (Golden Gate). I'll take $50 off the price if you can get it in person!
