beautiful 1919 circa Vintage Fairbanks little wonder( A Scale) in beautiful condition with original hardware in good clean condition. remo weatherking head 10 1/16 head, 10 1/16 pot, custom 5 string maple neck is solid maple with walnut stringer, peghead, and heel cap, ebony fretboard 23 1/2 scale, 2 way adjustable truss allows steel strings and ease of play, (accessible from heel end to preserve vintage appearance, real mother of pearl inlays in the vega style, Bound fret board, bone nut and raised bone pip for clawhammer style, new geared tuners, no knot tail piece, finished in lacquer to match original aged pot, original numbers date it to 1919 ? . matching dowel stick used to preserve resale value, C shaped neck is wider than standard 1 3/8 at nut and 2 inches at heel is easy to play with a 5/8 bridge and low action. stew mac medium fret wire only needs a lite touch. This banjo plays easily and sounds amazing with that rich Vega sound only age can produce. The real deal at a great price. This banjo is brite and loud, and perfect for fiddle tunes.
