The RB-75 "Vintage Lacquer" mahogany was to be a limited run of 15 custom banjos from the factory. According to a former Gibson employee only 10 of these were completed before the May 2010 flood that ended Gibson banjo production. This one now available is #6 from February 2009. The banjo is all original with "Gibson USA" in the right places with the original "Crowe" tone ring serial: 6244. This banjo is still very clean and been well cared for. The "J.D. Crowe" truss rod cover is not original to the banjo but I'm leaving it. Included in the sale is the original paperwork and Gibson certificate of authenticity.
