For sale is a 1993 Greg Rich Era Gibson Granada.
This banjo has been well played but also well taken care of. Played in, so as you would imagine, tone and volume are exactly what would be expected, excellent on both.
The banjo is all original withe the exception of the tail piece, tuners & buttons that are currently on the banjo. The original tail piece which was cracked has been replaced and the original cover remains on the banjo. 2nd and 3rd strings currently have Schaller D-tuners and all buttons have been replace with antique styled amber buttons. All original tuners, buttons and tailpiece will come with the banjo.
The neck has two light scuffs from play…..one just above the fifth string peg and the other just behind the second fret. Still plenty of play left in the frets but 1-4 will need dressing at some point in the future. Both can be seen in photos.
Metal surfaces have typical patina while the wood finish is also in very good shape with only the slightest of crazing on the resonator (cannot feel to the touch and pics could not capture).
The banjo is currently set up with Huber strings and head, Snuffy Smith bridge and spikes at 7-10.
Gibson stamp is in all the right places and ring and rim have matching numbers.

The banjo will come with a newer non-original HSC.
