1958 was the fourth year of production for the dreadnought 21 series and they were discontinued in 1969. Featuring strikingly straight grained Brazilian rosewood back & sides, and Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge. A wide and uniform grained Sitka spruce top adorned with the muted appointments the 21 series are known for: a simple 1-9-1 rosette, graduated dot inlays, faux tortoise shell pickguard an binding. Martin repair guru Dave Musselwhite reset the neck and fixed a few small cracks around the re-applied original pickguard (where a bit of overspray had been applied), but otherwise in excellent and all original condition. The finish shows checking and the sound is heavenly boom and punch. W/OHSC
