Great sounding banjo! Finding that my banjo voice is more in the open back old timey sound and this is too much banjo to sit unplayed. Bought it from a local fellow who bought it directly from Jimmy Cox and it was Jimmy’s personal banjo at that time. Includes very cool custom leather strap and tkl case. No problems with the instrument and it plays great, a few little bumps and scratches and overall patina. Previous owner wrote their name in the inside of resonator with a sharpie. Flathead tone ring, neck looks to be maple stained a dark brown.
