I am the original owner of this instrument purchased in 1995.
It is in excellent condition. All original except head was replaced with a John Balch goat skinhead. This banjo has great action, volume and tone: a wonderfully playable banjo. It has moderate wear on frets and a natural patina on hardware surface consistent with honest play wear and its well cared for condition..
