Excellent quality openback banjo, perfectly suited to a clawhammer or old-time picker, and packs enough punch for Scruggs style too. Perfect for the beginner and intermediate players alike. Dating from the early 2010s, this is the model that became the Goodtime Artisan and Americana. Includes a dark, attractive stain on the pot and neck, an armrest, and railroad spikes for the 5th string, and is a substantial step up from the standard Goodtime. With a great tone and light enough to carry around with ease, this is one of the most affordable and versatile openbacks on the market, plus the neck is a joy to play on.
Lightly played, with brand new Deering Light Gauge strings. Head shows slight wear, otherwise no dings, dents, or scrapes on any part of the banjo. Neck is straight, with no warpage, and frets are still in fine condition. Deering bridge and Goodtime tailpiece. Comes with a gig bag.
