The Gibson Granada was re-issued in the fall of 1987 under the leadership of Greg Rich at Gibson. The "Rich Era" continued into 1992 and has become a highly sought after time period of banjo production at Gibson. According to Nick Kimmons' notes, this banjo (#16) was originally for Greg Rich to replace #3. I'm sure there's a backstory but that was then. This banjo remains original with plenty of character. This Granada would easily clean up quite well, but most people love the patina so here we are. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask.
