1929 TB6 Conversion For Sale “The William Foster”. This banjo is in amazing condition and every nut and bolt is original. This banjo remains uncut with its original engraved archtop tone ring. The conversion neck was made by my good friend Mr. David Houchens of Bryce Instruments. David was a long-time luthier for Stelling and made over 1000 necks for them as well as mandolins. The banjo comes with an appraisal from Gruhn Guitars for $13,500.00 while still a tenor. I also have a copy of the Gibson ledger from Greg Earnest showing it was returned in 1945 for an undisclosed repair. I believe I have located the Gibson repair and it is shown in one of the photos. Sale also includes the tenor case, the tenor neck, original tuners (serviced by Dean Meece ) and the original Rogers head. Would obviously prefer to meet up and not to ship but I am willing to do so. Please message me with any questions or for additional info. Here is a link to a quick sound file youtu.be/BjWSr2rLeMk
