For sale is an extremely nice sounding and playing 1953 King Mortone upright bass with a padded cover. It has a full set up with no repairs from one of the best in the business Mr. Randy Hunt of Hunt double bass in Nashville, Tennessee. The bass is factory original with the exception of the Randy Hunt installed bridge with a Fishmam Full Circle pick up install. Randy also installed the tailpiece cable and it retains its original wooden end pin. Currently strung with GHS Perlon core strings, that are flexible with a nice gut like tone. Asking $3699 cash in person at a safe public location in the East-Central Kentucky area. Possibly would consider trades for Martin Guitars or Gibson Banjos of equal value ,sold as is no returns.
