Here's a very early Gibson Granada with the coveted "no-hole" tone ring. The Archtop configuration was just getting going after the ball-bearing era and after this, moved to the tone rings having 40-holes. Late 1926 into early 1928 is usually where you find these highly sought after no-hole tone rings. At basically 98 YEARS OLD, this banjo is in fantastic condition. The hardware shows the usual patina with a gold plated banjo of this vintage. The resonator features the Granada style concentric rings and of course some wear and tear over the last nearly 100 years. The curly maple neck was made many years ago by Randy Wood with the wreath inlay pattern and has a fantastic profile with beautiful matching patina for the complete vintage look. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking! Here's a YouTube clip of this banjo: youtube.com/watch?v=LIFSswKMons
