Wildwood Minstrel - open back, clawhammer style - made in America - NECK: highly figured hard rock maple, 2-piece laminated w/2-way adjustable truss rod system; ebony fingerboard w/MOP position markers, ebony peghead inlaid with star and the word "Wildwood;" Ebony heel cap, 26 1/4" scale. POT: 3/4" maple standard block laminated rim; tubaphone tone ring; fiberskin head; MODIFICATIONS: Kevin Enoch, banjo builder, pulled and filled the last 4 frets for easier playing over the neck; he dressed all frets and installed 5th string capo spikes at 6,7,8, and 9th frets. CASE: Gaurdian hardshell in perfect condition. HISTORY: I purchased this banjo in February 2009 from Turtle Hill Banjo Company; it is in perfect condition and has only been played for practice at home and during lessons. REASON FOR SELLING: I have an opportunity to buy a vintage banjo.
