I have a stand up Paddleboard (SUP) that I'd love to trade for a banjo. Apologies if this ad is in the wrong place; it doesn't fit neatly in a category.
The SUP is a Surftech Bark Contender, it's 12' 6" and it's been well used. In other words it's pretty beat up. In its day, it was a really high end board, great mix of stability and speed and it weighs next to nothing. It was pretty beat up when I got it; a few areas where it had been damaged and the repairs appeared to have been for speed rather than aesthetics. But if you're just looking for a great board and don't mind that it looks like Boba Fett's SUP, this is the one for you.
I suspect it would fetch about $800 on craigslist, but I'd rather have a banjo than cash. Anyone have anything to trade?
I'm in the Hudson Valley of NY, about halfway between NYC and Albany. Given the size of the SUP, trades would have to be in person; I don't want to ship a board any more than you want to ship a banjo.
Make me an offer; I'm a kayaker, not an SUPer; I've used this thing once in 4 years.
