Jason Romero open back, 12 inch, 5-String banjo used. The banjo number is 09179 and has a walnut pot. The neck does not have extra ornamentation. The pot has the original skin and the sound is deep and clear. There are no imperfections on the instrument and comes with a banjo strap and nice hard case. It’s time to liquidate my collection because of physical problems that don’t allow me to play as much as I’d like. This is an early Romero banjo. The basic banjo of this type from Jason Romero starts at $5400 for a new one. I’ve had this one for several years and hate to see it go. It is currently strung with nylon strings but could easily be converted back to steel. You can’t go wrong with this instrument if you love Romero banjos.
