I'm needing to sell my Hoyt 5+1. The low bass string is nice and the simple walnut and maple banjo cuts a sharp look, but I'm having some personal things I need to take care of...
The banjo has a rolled brass ring and Gotoh tuners with Maltese Cross tuners courtesy of Mark Ralston. The inlays are simple abalone dots and a single star.
At one point, the original brass stretcher band came undone and I replaced it with an old E2 grooved stretcher band, which is nickel plated. A couple hooks are also nickel plated, but all other hardware is brass via Rickard. If I were able to keep the banjo, I'd replace this stretcher band with a grooved hoop by Rickard. I'd also replace the few nickel hooks.
Other then the hardware I've noted, the banjo is in excellent shape. It also has two spikes.
