This Gibson made Kel Kroydon F.O.N. 9782-23 dates to right around 1931. The KK-10 was made originally with a 1/4" brass hoop for a "tone ring" and this one has been fitted with a Curtis McPeake 20-hole tone ring nearly 20 years ago. The hardware is original along with a Prewar Grover Presto tailpiece that has been punched for a 5-string. The Factory Order Number appears in the resonator and rim which is quite rare for a Kel Kroydon. The mahogany Frank Neat neck was completed with an original Prewar pearloid peghead overlay and pearloid fret board from Bryan England. The fret board features actual ebony inlay by Ronnie Bales instead of the usual stencil. The tuners are Keith standard with black buttons and the neck has the "speed neck" finish. If you need additional pictures or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking1
