This is a very rare and desirable SS Stewart Thoroughbred Special. 12" pot, 20 frets after the nut, 19" scale length. Beautiful carved heel and fancy inlay which makes this model special indeed. Mostly complete and appears structurally sound. This is a barn find project and I simply have no time to take on right now. She has been resting somewhere for a long time and collected a lot of dirt and grime on the rollover German silver pot and tension ring. There is some missing tensioner parts; hooks, nuts. Missing 2 tensioner shoes but has all shoe nuts. There is a chip in one point of the headstock and missing 1 fret. The neck appears straight. The fingerboard is lifting and cracked at the 5th fret. Has tailpiece, bone nut and a few extra pieces of hardware. What is pictured is all that I have. Please ask any questions before buying.
