Description
This is an all original Pot off of a 1990 Greg Rich era Granada that has been converted to a Lefty. The neck was made by Frank Neat and the banjo was set up by Steve Huber. This is definitely a special opportunity for a Lefty that has been looking for a very special Granada Banjo. Not only is this a Rich era Granada (with a Kulesh Tone Ring), the Neat Neck really finishes this off well.
This has a curly maple neck and resonator with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. The hardware is gold and all original including a Gibson USA One Piece Flange and a Gibson USA Kulesh Tone Ring. The banjo is all original except for the neck and neck tuners.
This has the original Gibson USA Hardshell Case.
Condition
This banjo is in fantastic shape. The finish on the neck and resonator look excellent. The frets and fretboard are nearly perfect and this has spikes at frets 7,9 and 10.
The only wear on the gold is some wear on the armrest. Other then that all of the gold looks incredible. This banjo is gorgeous and the original case is clean inside and out.
Set Up
This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Dotson and this has new Huber strings.
The banjo is a great example of a Pre War Gibson at a great price and is set up to maximize performance.
