The banjo is very bright and has a lot of sustain. The the all metal pot (not aluminum) was purchased on Ebay. Resonator is not original to the pot. The maker is unknown. Please listen to the banjo being played by me in 3 finger bluegrass style by clicking on the link below.

The neck is mahogany and probably of Asian origin. It has been refinished. The neck to pot fit is tight and secure. The banjo notes true up and down the neck. The entire banjo weighs in at a little over 10 lbs. There is no case, but the banjo will be packed carefully and shipped insured via UPS ground.
