This low Crown head of the so called “Pre- EPA” vintage has some wear in the frosting from clawhammer style playing. However, if you mount the head to where the logo is under the tailpiece, you will barely be able to see the spot with missing frosting.
There are some spots of slight discoloration, and there is kind of a crease around the head from where it was used with an archtop Tonering equipped instrument. There’s some tape residue on the back from where the part number sticker was. No less, this head still has some life in it and would be a great way to try out one of these heads if you’ve wondered what the fuss is about.
Thanks for looking and feel free to reach out with any questions.
